Village of Fredonia Trustee
As an 8 year Navy veteran, service to country and community is more than idea. It dictates how I conduct myself on a daily basis.
In my opinion, for far too long the village has resisted true progress. Consolidation, shared services, mergers; these are not actions that will lead to an end of our village but will provide necessary tools for the village to step boldly into the future in a fiscally responsible manner.
I have been elected and reelected because the voters support the views I have on most important issues; determining our water source, exploring ways to work with our neighbors to get our budget under control, return civility to the public discourse and treat those that disagree with me not as an enemy but as a fellow citizen.
I have been a resident of Fredonia since leaving the military 36 years ago. My wife Gwen and I have been married for 26 years and reside on Forest Place.
For the past 4 years I have made myself available to village residents at any time. From lengthy phone conversations, personal meetings, texts, to numerous W(h)ine time events, I have given residents many opportunities to express their views, ask questions, and listen as I explain my position on a myriad of topics.
